BrainRT/SleepRT uses the Microsoft SQL server (a relational database of Microsoft) for the information management. The SQL server manages the patient’s information and the registrations. The database organizes the workflow of the lab activities. Lists and surveys can be made with the aid of an extensive set of criteria.

Besides the management of the BrainRT/SleepRT activities, the SQL server database also contains the archive. By using an online archive system, the registered signals and their additional information are available within a few seconds.

HL7

OSG HL7 uses a QRY (Query) connection to find patient information.

Other HL7 connections- such as SIU (appointments), ORM (requests), DFT (financial operations) and ORU (results) - can be realized in consultation with the ICT department.
